Sunset Ridge Campground opened in 2011. Located on Lake Russell, the campground is near a public boat ramp and a popular spot for water sports. When you visit, you will be pleased with the amenities and friendly staff.
Sunset Ridge Campground is right on Lake Russell where you can catch striper, crappie, largemouth bass, catfish, and trout. Horseback riding is popular as well as biking and hiking. Since this is an Army Corps property, you are allowed to hunt for free with a valid license.
“Amazing place! Case and Sherri are awesome people! They are kind and always looking out for their residents! We checked into a cabin at about 11 pm and Case met us and took us to our beautiful cabin! We were originally going to stay there for a week, but Case worked with us and we ended up staying the whole month for a very good price! The campground is always quiet and peaceful! Case keeps the bathroom/shower house impeccably clean at all times! We walked the woods behind the campground and made it to the lake which was beautiful. Case even made his service road accessible for our stroller to make it down to the lake! The cabin was very clean and spacious! All amenities included!” – Toni, from Google Review
