Surrounded by hundreds of acres of Point Beach State Forest, Scheffel’s Hideaway Campground is a true hideaway on Lake Michigan’s shores. The campground is right next to the scenic and charming small town of Two Rivers. While it’s a few minutes from town in the middle of the state forest, the campground does have a fantastic restaurant and pub right at its doorstep. Nearby you’ll also find the Point Beach State Park, the Rawley Point Bicycle Trail, and the lakeside Mariner’s Trail, so there’s not shortage of outdoor activities nearby. The best part? Bay Beach Amusement Park is just 40 minutes away.
