Potawatomi State Park is a great place for anglers to travel to in an RV as it is a great place to enjoy other water activities. The park is located off of the shores of Sturgeon Bay, so at this location, you will find some breathtaking views of Sawyer Harbor. Potawatomi State Park is northwest of the city of Sturgeon Bay and southeast of the town of Idlewild. There are 1,200 acres of rolling hills, steep cliffs, and sandy shorelines to explore in the park throughout the year.

Inside Potawatomi State Park
Potawatomi State Park is a great place to go hiking because there are 9 miles of trails to explore. There are also trails that can be used for biking, skiing, and snowmobiling. In the winter, there is even a big snow hill for the kids to enjoy. When the weather is warmer, boating is an activity that is often enjoyed. There is also a fishing pier and a swimming beach to make the most of your time at Sturgeon Bay.

How to Get to
Potawatomi State Park
From Green Bay, take WI-57 North for about 37 miles until you reach CH-PD (County Highway PD). Turn north on CH-PD, and in about 2.5 miles, you will see the park entrance.

Potawatomi State Park is open daily from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. A Wisconsin state park admission sticker is required for entry into the park.
