Riverside Camping is nestled in a beautiful location on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. Since this property has been family-owned and -operated since 1970, the service is always top-notch. You can also enjoy the many amenities on-site.
For added convenience, firewood is included in the park fee. The grassy sites are able to accommodate campers up to 34 feet in length. There are picnic tables and fire rings on every site. Plus, pets are allowed as long as they are leashed. You are also extremely close to the Shenandoah River, which is perfect for canoeing, fishing, and even tube floating.
“Sometimes you find something that is so enjoyable, that you don’t want to share it with anyone. Riverside Campground is such a place. A beautiful country store with real gas pumps out front and homemade breakfast for all takers, a well-designed campground with clean showers and restrooms, river campsites that have stairs going down to the water, fire rings with free seasoned wood (yeah, I said free), friendly seasonal campers who care for their campground, and the owner named Stan.” – Stafford, Google Review
