This park, which is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, features secluded campsites with lots of tree cover. The sites are spacious and level, and campers will love sitting by the fire stargazing at the Virginia night sky. If you like camping in wooded areas, this is definitely the campground for you.
While the campgrounds at Otter Creek are primitive, there is water available at every site. Of course, there are lots of trails to hike in the area. If you brought your fishing supplies, be sure to head to the James River. This is a great location for people who are looking for an out-in-nature experience.
“The park is quiet and has many shady sites. Otter Creek camp is at the lowest point on the Blue Ridge Parkway at milepost 61. There are a small restaurant and visitor center.” – TravelerRog, RV Park Reviews
