Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Cuyahoga Valley, Heritage Farms stands as a testament to familial dedication. Located not far from the river, this family-owned farm is situated in the delightful and historic Village of Peninsula. Heritage Farms offers nine primitive tent sites, three A-frame sites, and three Adirondack-style camping shelters, available by advanced reservation only.
Established in 1818, Peninsula has become renowned for its rich history, stunning landscapes, and compassionate community. Rooted in a pioneering entrepreneurial spirit, the village and Cuyahoga Valley embrace a robust history of agriculture and industry, fostering numerous small businesses, artists, and craftspeople. With a tradition spanning over 200 years, Heritage Farms is an integral part of this vibrant legacy, having weathered various transformations from a canal boat-building operation to a potato farm, a dairy farm, and a beef cattle farm. Today, Heritage Farms is a cherished destination where families come together to find their Christmas trees in early winter, partake in a pumpkin paradise during the fall, and kick off each year with the popular Peninsula Flea Markets that run throughout the summer.
