“This is a great place to either R and R or go fishing chasing stripes. The owner is extremely helpful and is working very hard to upgrade what was a rundown area. Free Wi-Fi but no phone service which was refreshing. Very nice pool and a stroll to the river’s edge where you can fish from shore. He also has rental trailers if you don’t have your own. It’s a great place, and we definitely will be back.”

What People Are Saying About Davy Crockett Campground

“Best camping ever! We were greeted enthusiastically with a full tour of the place to be sure we were good with our location. The next day we toured some empty cabins in the event it rained (we were tent camping). Loved the stocked pond and waking up to a sunrise over the water. Fantastically friendly people all over the place. Clean bathrooms. Love the family shower option at the indoor hot tub area (that was great to handle our toddler in). The salt water pool was great, as well as the hay ride in the afternoon. Sunday breakfast was delish! We are coming back again and bringing more people!”
– Hajar, from Google Review

“This is a really amazing place to get away for a weekend or a lifetime. The breakfast is awesome and has the home-cooked feel. It’s peaceful and the staff that cater to it really adds to the atmosphere of it. It’s got very reasonable rates for camping. There are sites that provide electricity and water and sites that don’t if it’s not needed. The pool is 3 to 5 foot deep and is also heated at times. There are a lot of things to do here for a weekend of fun. I highly recommend it. Their website seems simple and does not due this beautiful area justice but that just makes seeing it in person that much better. I look forward to our next stay.”
