There are many attractions and activities to enjoy in Maryland, including visiting Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine, biking on the Maryland Rail Trail, seeing the wild horses on Assateague Island, and fly-fishing in the Savage River. The state has many smaller communities including Thurmond, Berlin, and Eastport, with well-preserved historic downtown areas to explore. Maryland’s location along the Atlantic seacoast makes it an excellent place for a beach vacation. Think about exploring the areas around the Chesapeake Bay or near Ocean City. With so many fantastic opportunities, you will want to go glamping in Maryland often.

Luxury Camping in Maryland

Glamping in Maryland is a fantastic way to escape the summer’s heat, but remember that these spots often fill up quickly. Therefore, you should make your reservations as far ahead as possible during the summer months. If you want to escape the crowds, consider a springtime or fall glamping experience. If you are afraid that cooler temperatures will ruin your fun, consider locations along the eastern shore where the Atlantic Ocean brings moderate temperatures or on the east side of the mountain where downslope winds help to warm the area.

Thinking about the activities you want to do while glamping can help you to make sure you bring along the right clothes. You will probably want to bring along a swimsuit as most locations have a pool or waterpark. You may also want to bring along comfortable clothing and good walking shoes if you plan to explore the area around the resort.
