Two large US cities within close range from Verona Beach State Park are New York City and Philadelphia. On the route from New York City, begin by taking FDR Dr from Spruce St and Frankfort St. The second step is to follow NJ-17 N, I-87 N, and I-90 W to NY-365 E in Verona. You'll arrive at the destination after taking NY-31 W and Poppleton Rd to Verona Beach State Park. 

On the way from Philadelphia, start by taking I-76 W from S Penn Square, John F Kennedy Blvd, and John F Kennedy Blvd Bridge. Then, you'll want to follow I-476 N and I-81 N to NY-13 N/N Peterboro St in Canastota. Get off when you reach Exit 34. The final step is to travel along NY-13 N to Verona Beach State Park in Verona.
