New York City and Boston are the two closest major cities to Selkirk Shores State Park. On the way from New York City, you should begin by following 6th Ave and I-78 W to NJ-139 W in Jersey City. Next, you'll want to take I-280 W, I-80 W, I-380 N and I-81 N to County Rte 28/Tinker Tavern Rd in Richland and get off at Exit 35. Complete the route by taking County Rte 28 to your destination.
