Mount Sunapee State Park and State Beach feature some of the best scenery in New Hampshire. Picturesque mountains, including Mount Sunapee, surround the lake. Fishing
The region near Mount Sunapee is known for fly fishing, and it's a popular destination to catch brook trout and other fish species native to the region. How to Get to
Mount Sunapee State Park and State Beach
If you're coming from Concord, NH, take I-89 to King Hill Road. Then take a left on Route 103A, and take a right to get on Route 103. This leads directly to Sunapee State Park Road. Take a left onto it to enter the park.
If you're coming from Boston, MA, the entire trip takes approximately two hours. Get on I-93 North until you reach New Hampshire Route 103. Keep going until you reach Sunapee State Park Road. This road will lead you directly to Mount Sunapee State Park and State Beach.
Entering Mount Sunapee State Park and State Beach
Parking is available at the entrance and at some of the trailheads. The park's entrance fee is $5 per vehicle, and there is an additional fee of $2 for anyone over the age of six.

Pets are allowed in the park, but they must be kept on a leash at all times. In addition, dogs are not allowed to swim in Lake Solitude.
