North Higgins Lake State Park RV & Campground Guide

Michigan

Located on the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, North Higgins Lake State Park is close to Roscommon and Grayling. The park's main focal point is Higgins Lake, which "National Geographic" called one of the country's most beautiful lakes. Once used as a fish nursery, the 9,900-acre lake now offers fishing for pike, yellow perch, smelt, and trout. At the Higgins Lake Nursery and CCC Museum, you can learn about the Civilian Conservation Corps and their efforts in the region. North Higgins Lake State Park has two on-site campgrounds, too.
