The Oscar Scherer State Park was originally constructed to protect the ecosystem just outside Osprey, FL. The park is an unexpected natural oasis in the middle of an urban environment. How to Get to
Oscar Scherer State Park
Once you get on Interstate 75, it's easy to reach this park. Take the Venice/Osprey Florida 681 South exit. After getting on Florida 681 South, stay right at the fork to get on US 41 N. Follow that road for 1.9 miles to arrive at the park.
