Request Expert Help2008 Coachmen RV - Freelander 24FS Chevy 4500
This RV is a great size for anyone to drive. At 24’ long it’s spacious enough and still very manageable on the road. Comes fully equipped with backup camera and lots of extras. We love our RV and have used it many times ourselves as a family of 4.

Hosted by Wendel
I grew up in Alaska in Palmer and love exploring and seeing this beautiful state. Now it’s a joy to take my family all over. This is the second RV we have owned and upgraded to a slightly longer Class A to have a bit more room with our family of 4 and enjoy the massive front window for viewing wildlife and nature. We would love for you to get that same opportunity exploring Alaska in style.

I decided to use my time off work while awaiting shoulder replacement , too take my 80yr old father on a bucket list halibut trip off the kenai peninsula. I could not have asked for a better family to rent a camper from . Everything was clean and worked as described (lots of extras).
We had a personal emergency causing us to extend our trip and they couldn't have been more accommodating.
We had a wonderful experience with Wendell’s RV although it was an aged vehicle. Wendel and his wife had provided a lot of useful cooking tools and kitchen equipments. The queen bed was so comfortable.Overall, the vehicle conditions were good.
However, we had encountered unexpected experience of a coach battery depletion after having 3-4 days dry camp continuously (only dry camp at Denali NP).
I’m happy you guys had a fun time. You were our first people to travel into Canada and back. I’m also sorry you accidentally ran the RV batteries completely dead and had to rough it the last few days. You were charged the $500 pet fee because you told me 5 days before you were renting my RV that you were bringing your service job so I charged you the $25/day pet fee for your 20 day rental.
We had a great trip and the RV worked great. Wendell supplied the camper with most supplies we needed besides food like lawn chairs, bug spray, utensils, paper plates and silverware, bedding, towels, all kinds of things. Wendell was great and we are thankful to have had such an awesome trip! Would highly recommend renting the RV from Wendell.
Really nice people, very accommodating. good value.
We visited Alaska with our 13 year old grandson. Our RV experience was great! Wendell met us at the airport as planned and we were off after our orientation to the RV. Wendell made sure it was in good condition for our rental. It is an older RV that has been taken good care of with some remodeling. It was very clean and stocked as described.
I loved renting and using the RV from Wendell! Communication was great pre-trip, during trip & post trip along with a good overview on how to use the RV (first time using a RV/experienced driving big trucks and equipment). The RV was in wonderful shape, very clean and super stocked (teas, coffees, Keurig machine and full kitchen supplies).
