The RV I rented was in very bad shape. SHOULD NOT BE RENTED... Mechanically, the check engine light is on and it has had a horrible squeal whenever the vehicle is excelerated. It has an exhaust leak and also overheated while we were driving over Grants Pass. The windshield is cracked in multiple places with one large circle of damage near the driver's side.
The RV was amazing. We took it across country in an unexpected storm and it handled like a champ. No tank freezing, issues with heating the rv and Jess had enough extra blankets for my little ones to be extra cozy. We had a doozy of a meeting with a rogue gravel truck and Jess and her husband were so understanding and comforting when I sent photo of the wind shield.
would not rent if you are planning to dry camp we ran out of water (don't think the tank was full when we left) we ran out of propane (could not get it filled because it was broken) had to run the rv every morning to charge the batteries to start the generator even with nothing left on.. would be ok if you are going to full hook ups
Unfortunately Nikki had a few issues on her rental while she was dry camping, and while she was out of cell range we were unable to connect and walk her through steps to fix the issues she was facing. The propane was not broken, only the gauge, so it was full on her trip. The water was simply a setting issue on the panel which we could have assessed easily has we been in contact during their stay.
We enjoyed working with Jess...a wonderful family. She was quick to communicate and the pickup and drop off were a breeze.
Jess (and Matt) were amazing owners to rent from! We could not have asked for a better RV rental experience, from first online inquiry to dropping off 3,000 miles later. Jess made sure we felt comfortable and confident the whole way through the process and was super kind and responsive about any questions that came up throughout our trip.
We rented Jess's RV for an entire week. Went up to Crater Lake National Park and over to the Oregon coast. It was a very comfortable ride and very spacious for the six of us, everyone on the trip loved it. We got great gas mileage considering all the uphill climbing we did. Jess was awesome at making me feel comfortable driving and operating her RV.
