They are a perfect size to put your bikes and other outdoor gear in the back and hit the open road.

I planned from the beginning to give less than a 5 star rating as I will explain. But this van was fantastic too... in the really important aspects.
We used her for 3 weeks mostly in Yellowstone. And she performed... the engine was really strong and handled really great 👍.
I was really worried about the fridge and solar power... but they were wonderful.
Aaron was wonderful. He answered all of our questions. The van was comfortable. The water is a good backup option, but taste a bit like plastic. When you're stuck in a place with no water it's a great addition.
We picked up this quirky DIY Ford Transit at SLC and adventured through southern Utah for 10 days. The van was super reliable, bed was comfortable, the stove worked very well, and the van was an overall great value for us. We are smaller people and backpackers so we are comfortable travelling light and living in tight quarters. We loved it!
A few notes...There are no USB ports in the van.
I would really recommend this RV to anyone who wants to experience freedom of movement when going on a trip. Overall, it has everything you need for a couple of days and for instance like in my case that I went with a couple of friends to Yellowstone National Park this choice is the best one because you need a car for visiting the park and somewhere to sleep.
This van is a beast! Drives great and can handle mountainous roads & high winds. There was cooking supplies, full propane, solar panels & water; all the essentials if off-grid for a night. Bit of a home-built van but as a single traveller, the van's quirks gave it character. Great option for a more affordable budget.
This vehicle drives amazingly. We drove several hundred miles with high winds. The vehicle powered through wind and steep hills. The van is quirky but it kept its safe and dry.
