We had an amazing experience renting Leon’s RV! From the very beginning, Leon was incredibly helpful, patient, and went the extra mile to ensure we felt comfortable with the vehicle. He dedicated a lot of time to walk us through every detail—how to manage the water, electricity, AC, propane, and all the controls. His thorough explanations made a huge difference and gave us confidence for the trip.
Overall, the RV was nice and had nice amenities and Leon acts like a standup guy when you meet him but he’s a scam artist. He waived a lot of the charges in the beginning of the trip, which was very nice, but ultimately he tried to get them back in the end plus more.
When we were parked and sleeping Unit did its job it was good.
Unit needs a lot of maintenance. I had to put washer fluid for wipers. The engine compartment is filthy.
I can hear an exhaust leak or muffler leak the whole time. It was super annoying.
For a trip like the one we took that unit is not good I can hear all the rattling and squeaking a lot of items need to be lubed up.
"Should have paid more attention to the RV Share reviews on Leon." The RV unit ran strong but had "many" interior and exterior visible "wear and tear" areas. It was acceptable but not notably clean. Leon was workable and friendly but had a "don't worry about it" attitude (except at the end). Leon is not the owner but is working for someone so he can use the vehicle he states.
Just got home from a wonderful trip to Yosemite. Leon's RV was perfect for my family of 4. All ran smoothly with our trip and we were able to extend by one day. Here are some things to know, and I tried speaking with Leon about them but all I heard were excuses.
1. The RV was NOT clean upon receiving. The counters when wiped down left my clorox wipe brown.
Had a great time renting Leon's RV. My wife and I used it to stay in the North Pines campground in Yosemite. It had everything we needed and kept us comfy when it was cold outside. We were enjoying our time so much that we extended our original stay to a full week and Leon was flexible in adding the extension. Leon also made the pickup and dropoff easy. Would rent from again
