Brad

Outstanding Renter, trailer unit and renting experience!

Billy

The whole experience was easy, fast, and efficient. Ronnie made the pickup and drop off easy by providing detailed instruction in locating the sites. The trailer was clean and well maintained and easy to setup. Ronnie went above and beyond by providing instructional videos on all the functions of the trailer. But most importantly, he was flexible and understandable with drop off times when my truck had maintenance problems, Ronnie even offered alternate drop off locations to make my life easier. Overall, I would definitely rent his trailer again, and recommend him to all my friends.

Response from Ronnie

Thank you for such kind comments and glad you had a great experience. Would gladly rent to you in the future.

I am not a camper owner, nor do I claim to know all of the inner workings of a camper.  However, I have in the past rented three campers and have not had any problems whatsoever or needed to purchase or do anything special for the camper.

My husband and I were planning an anniversary trip and decided to rent a camper for our long weekend trip.  We contacted Ronnie to rent his camper.  After putting down the request to rent and half of the deposit, Ronnie messaged me and said that we would need several out of pocket devices in order to pull his camper.  This should have been my first clue that things weren’t going to go well with this rental.  As I indicated, in the past rentals, we never needed to purchase anything else in order to enjoy our time in the rental.  Since we had already made our anniversary plans, we went along with having to purchase these additional items.  When we arrived to pick up the camper, we asked Ronnie why it wasn’t filled with water.  He indicated that if he filled it with water, he would have to charge us extra for that.  Again, in the past rentals, we never had this issue.  The campers were picked up and ready to use.  Ronnie told us to go to a specific place and fill the camper up.  We followed his directions even though this took an hour out of our vacation and did as he instructed.  We had to call Ronnie several times during our vacation regarding the camper.  For example, there was an obnoxious beeping noise if the generator was not on.  We finally had to disconnect the battery in order to getting the obnoxious beeping to stop.  When we returned the camper to Ronnie, he went thru every inch of the camper with a fine toothed comb.  He accused us of taking a bowl and breaking a shelf.  The shelf was actually laying inside the refrigerator the entire time.  Since we didn’t use any of the kitchen items, I’m not sure where his bowl is.  After about an hour of him looking thru the camper we finally left.  We received a text from Ronnie saying that we filled his camper up with unsanitary water and he will need to deduct money from our deposit in order to resanitize, etc.  even though we followed his directions when we picked up the camper regarding getting the water.  I will not, nor would I recommend, renting from this particular individual in the future.

Response from Ronnie

I apologize your experience was as neither you or I had planned. I am hoping the following tips will assist anyone when reading this if planning to rent a camper. Federal law requires that campers of a specific weight have a brake controller. It is recommended when traveling hundreds of miles with a camper of specific weight that the water tank be empty. One should never put well water in a fresh water tank and finally, honesty and respect above all.
