This Travel van is perfect for your next getaway!
I LOVE my van and am sharing it now because I think it is getting lonely, I am working too much! This stylish RV has everything you could want for a short or long getaway, is super fun to drive-(what other RV can say that?) and easy to maneuver around city or back roads. I have parallel parked it in Manhattan many times.
Check out this video from the manufacturer-it is a hoot and very informative. My van has White Chocolate upholstery and a power bed but otherwise is just the same:
Here are the details spelled out for you.
The slide out gives it a spacious feeling and the giant side door with folding screen adds to the open feeling. You will love having an espresso machine on board!
The Free Spirit SS design is simple and straightforward, with an expandable living room zone up front using a driver’s side slide-out, mid-coach curbside galley, and a rear bathroom with full stand-up enclosed shower, vanity and porcelain toilet. What is amazing here is how the manufacturer shoehorned abundant amenities often found in larger motorhomes into this compact, completely self-contained layout.
The Free Spirit’s tight interior footprint opens into a functional living area by opening the slide. Euro-modern decor and clean design create an interior that is a pleasure to experience. Solid, curved wood cabinetry is finished in a cool, White Chocolate veneer with walnut accents, while other features include soft-close drawers, and strategically placed brushed stainless pulls and retractable knobs. Above, the ceiling is finished with a padded, marine-grade vinyl headliner studded with dimmable, low-amp LED lighting fixtures.
The kitchen has a 2 burner gas stove, convection and microwave oven and a refrigerator freezer. I cook all the time while on the road.
Corian countertops and lots of storage highlight the galley.
A convertible sofa in the slide-out module is upholstered in supple Ultraleather with memory foam padding. I have added an extra memory foam mattress pad and fresh linens plus I had the sofa-bed motorized for easy conversion. Windows have metal mini-blinds or soft, cocoa-colored cloth curtains for privacy.
A large, mid-coach streetside bank of cupboards and drawers represents ample interior storage potential. This lengthy floor-to-ceiling structure is appointed with a 22-inch-wide by 54-inch-high by 15-inch-deep wardrobe closet, multiple drawers and several smaller cupboards. Overhead cabinets are also sited above the couch, while curbside, the galley is fitted with overhead cabinets, and a cupboard and drawers beneath the Corian counter.
Please note that the TV , although it has a good antenna, is limited in its reception and I cannot guarantee that cable, if available at your campground, will provide you with trouble free entertainment. Please bring your own laptop if TV is important to you!
A rear bathroom with standup enclosed shower, toilet with 19 inches of foot space, and a decent-size vanity plus plenty of storage in the medicine chest is rare in an RV of this size.
Interior ventilation in the Free Spirit is quite good, thanks mainly to the cross flow of air between its louvered slideout windows and the curbside door opening measuring approximately 45 inches wide by 74 inches high. This generous portal also features a retractable metal screen that can be pulled snugly in place to allow added airflow, and enables increased viewing to the outside that includes bug protection..
With a turbodiesel powered Mercedes-Benz 3500 van chassis, rakishly attractive exterior, Euro-based interior with extra slideout living space, and a full bathroom, there aren’t too many places this coach won’t be appreciated — in form as well as function.
