Allen County Museum
The Allen County Museum is located in the city of Lima, the county seat of Allen County, Ohio, United States. Occupying a half city block, the museum campus includes the main museum building, a log house, the MacDonell House (a Victorian mansion), a Shay Locomotive display, Military/Transportation building, the Children's Museum, and the Children's Garden. The museum is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. According to recent reports of the American Alliance of Museums Accreditation Department, less than 800 museums, out of more than 11,000 in the United States, are accredited. Standards for accreditation apply across the board to both small and large institutions.
Hancock Historical Museum
The Hancock Historical Museum is a privately funded, non-profit history museum founded in 1970 by five Findlay residents to collect and preserve the rich history of Hancock County. The Museum is located in the Hull-Flater House at 422 West Sandusky Street, and first opened to the public in 1971. An addition was built on to the Hull-Flater House in 1985, serving as an exhibit center and meeting area while also housing the archives and museum collections. At the same time, a barn was constructed behind the museum, currently displaying exhibitions about transportation and agricultural life in Hancock County. The Crawford Log House, originally built in Biglick Township, was then moved behind the barn completing the museum structures housed on Sandusky Street.

Flag City Balloon Fest
The Flag City Balloon Fest has been a free community event from its beginning 15 years ago. This event is sponsored by local businesses that understand the value and pride of investing in their community and the rewards our community receives in return. The Flag City Balloon Fest was founded by Findlay businessman Dan Clinger and his son Phil, who is an experienced Hot Air Balloon Pilot. In 1999, along with a committee of family, friends, and volunteers, this group dedicated themselves to the idea of creating a local celebration for the New Millennium in year 2000. And what a celebration it was! It has continued each year since then, and has become the most anticipated and exciting festival in Findlay and Northwest Ohio.
Riverside Wine Festival
Every year, there is a weekend in Findlay that is just such a perfect cross-section of Findlay that it can’t be missed. That is of course the Riverside Wine Festival. If you want to quickly taste some of the best that Findlay has to offer, this is the way to do it.
