How To Get To The Arlington House and Robert E. Lee Memorial

The Robert E. Lee Memorial is easily accessible by vehicle, and the cemetery lies across from the Potomac River, so it's quite easy to hit both sites at once. You can reach the memorial by taking I-295, I-495, or Interstate 95. In Virginia, take I-95 to the 170A exit, heading to Washington. From exit 8A, take VA-244 and follow the signs. Parking is to the left of the visitor center.

The operating hours vary from season to season. From October until March, the hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. From April until September, the hours are 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. daily.
