There are quite a few amenities for racegoers! The grounds have grandstand and open-air festival seating, with a handicapped viewing area and covered Super Ticket Seating and VIP Viewing Areas. There is nearly 100% track viewing from a number of vantage points. There’s also an interactive Sponsor Village and Pro Pit Access on Saturday morning.

The Budds Creek National track lies just half an hour from Washington, D.C. near the Chesapeake Bay. The beautiful summer weather makes spending the day outdoors a treat, and there are lots of other things to do nearby, before and after racing days. The hills, jumps, and corners on this classic American motocross track make it an all-around exciting race to watch!

RVING AT THE EVENT

One of the best ways to attend a motocross event is in an RV! There is dry camping available, and RV septic pump service. RV camping is perfect for these kinds of events, because you can watch racing throughout the day, and still jog back to your home away from home at any point to get some food, reapply sunscreen, grab a jacket, or even take a nap for a bit. You can also camp nearby:

• Harbor View RV & Camping Resort - has full hookups, laundry, showers, a pool, shuffleboard, and a clubhouse. The campground is pet-friendly as well. 

• Aqualand Marina & Campground - offers a choice of primitive to full hookup sites. There is also fishing, rental boats, a convenience store, laundry, showers, a playground, a rec hall, and a dump station. There are also pull-through sites available, and the campground is pet-friendly. 

WHERE TO STAY

RV Camping

Whether you use a rental from RVshare or bring your own motorhome, RV camping is a great way to hit a motocross event! You’ll be able to spend all day at the races, then head back to a comfortable spot where you can have your own food...and your own bathroom! 

Hotels

If you decide not to camp, there are plenty of hotels in the area as well. You can find hotels near the Budds Creek National here. You may also find good deals on travel sites like Expedia or Travelocity.

HOW TO GET THERE

From the north: Turn left on Maryland Highway 5 south out of Waldorf. Continue straight on Highway 5 for 16 miles to Maryland Highway 236. Turn right on 236 for 6 miles until it ends at Maryland Highway 234. Turn right onto 234. The track is ⅛ of a mile down on the left. 

From the south: Take I-95 north to Route 207. Turn right, this becomes US Highway 301. Travel north 5 miles into Maryland. Turn right on Maryland Highway 234. The track is 10 miles down on the right.

PARKING

Onsite parking is $TBA. There is also handicap parking available, and motorcycle parking is free and includes a gear and helmet check.

Tickets can be purchased online. Tickets range in price depending on the perks you’d like to purchase for the race!
