There’s plenty to do throughout the weekend. In addition to O’Reilly Auto Parts and Craftsman Truck series races, you can also catch a prerace concert ahead of the Yellawood 500. Be sure to check out the Fan Zone outside the track, where you can find official merchandise, driver meet and greets, and more.

ON-SITE AMENITIES

There are several amenities available to make your day at the races more pleasant! You can bring a cooler with your own food and drinks into the stadium. There is a Lost & Found, First-Aid stations, places to buy souvenirs, and concessions. There is a fan hotline number to call for answers to common questions and a number to text if you have problems when you get there. There are pit passes available for purchase to get you closer to the action, and you can also rent scanners and FanVision so you can see and hear the race even better! HOW TO GET THERE

From Nashville: Get on I-40 E/I-65 S. Keep right at the fork to continue on I-65 S, following signs for Huntsville. Take exit 265 toward Fultondale, merge onto US-31 S, and then turn left onto 47th Ave. N. Continue onto 49th Ave N/Erwin Dairy Rd. Follow the Signs for Atlanta. Take exit 168 for AL-77 toward Talladega/Lincoln. Follow the signs to the track. From Atlanta: Get on I-20 W. Follow to Co Rd 5/Co Rd 93/John N Wills Ave in Talladega County and turn left. Continue to follow Co Rd 5/Co Rd 93 onto Speedway Blvd. Turn left toward Infield Dr. Make a sharp right, and then turn left onto North Tunnel. Continue onto Turn Four Lane, and then make a right onto Road Course Loop. Follow the signs to the track.

5-Day Itinerary for the Talladega Superspeedway Yellawood 500

The Talladega Superspeedway Yellawood 500 takes place on Sunday, October 25. However, there are NASCAR activities in the days leading up to the Cup Series race that RV campers can enjoy. • Day 1: On Thursday, arrive at your campground and get yourself settled and set up the RV. This is a great chance to meet your campground neighbors. • Day 2: The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series has qualifying at 11:30 a.m. and races at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. • Day 3: The action starts early in the day on Saturday. The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series qualifies at 10:00 a.m. before the Cup Series has qualifying at noon. At 2:30 p.m., the green flag drops on the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race. • Day 4: The NASCAR Cup Series Yellawood 500 starts at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. • Day 5: You have until noon to be checked out of the campground, so say your goodbyes and get on the road.
