RV Rental Tips for the Martinsville Speedway Xfinity 500
Most of the campgrounds at Martinsville offer dry camping and have grass parking spots that measure 18' x 40'. Only the South Lot, which has spots measuring 20' x 50', and Champion's Overlook are designed for larger RVs. If you're renting a Class A RV, you'll need to book a spot at Champion's Overlook. The other campgrounds have sites with plenty of space for Class C RVs and camper vans. Champion's Overlook and the Backstretch RV campground are the only options that provide hookups. Both have access to 50-AMP power, but only Champion's Overlook has water access. It's also a good idea to get there early, especially if you're camping in the General Admission lot. This makes setting up easier and can even get you a better spot to spend the weekend. Finally, be sure to consider the weather. Nighttime temperatures can drop into the 30s or 40s, so it's a good idea to pack warm clothes, especially if you plan to spend time outside with your campground neighbors.
