RV Rentals at Taste of Pennsylvania Wine & Music Festival
In 2025, the Taste of Pennsylvania Wine & Music Festival will celebrate its 17th year. The festival will be held at the Reid Menzer Pavilion in York Memorial Park, which allows you to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages to supplement what's already at the festival. The event's tagline regarding food is "Try Some Food That Doesn't Suck." The organizers also encourage all attendees to "Try Some Wine." That should be easy to do with over 200 wines available and multiple gourmet food vendors on-site. Live music adds to the festive ambiance. The event lasts for one day, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., and is open to all ages. You must be 21 or older to drink alcohol.

There are wine tastings, food displays, and other culinary events that take place during the festival. Live music is also on deck.

The address of the York Memorial Park Complex is 500 Vander Avenue, York, Pennsylvania, 17403. The area is near Civil War battlefields, so it's a terrific educational place to explore with your family.

There is no lineup posted on the event website yet, but rest assured there will be a fantastic selection of Pennsylvania vintners, local food vendors, and enjoyable musical acts.
RVING AT THE EVENT
Memorial Park doesn't have an RV campground, but there are several excellent RV parks in York where you can stay. One of the notable examples is the Ben Franklin RV Park, which offers full hookups, heated bathrooms, hot showers, a patio area near a waterfall, and dry camping campsites. There's also a recently upgraded laundry room available. If you have an RV that's no more than 35 feet in length, Indian Rock Campground is a great place for you to stay. It's got full hookups, full restrooms, and a camp store. It's a pet-friendly campground too. It provides access to a nature trail that connects to the York Heritage Rail Trail. There's also a nearby park where you can fish and boat. If you don't own an RV, you can find RV rentals in and around York. Renting an RV lets you enjoy all the perks of RV living without the big-time investment. Then, when your trip to the Taste of Pennsylvania Wine & Music Festival is over, simply return your RV to its owner, very likely making a new friend in the process. The Taste of Pennsylvania Wine & Music Festival takes place rain or shine. In early May, the daytime temperatures in York are super comfortable, rarely going past 75 degrees Fahrenheit. It most likely won't be muggy, with an average humidity of 60%-63%. At night, the temp can dip down to 50 degrees, so be sure to pack warm clothing. It doesn't rain a lot this time of year, but it makes sense to bring some rain gear just in case.

WHERE TO STAY
You can find luxurious accommodations at the Grace Manor Bed and Breakfast. It has four themed rooms, each inspired by a different country or continent: Mexico, France, Asia, and Switzerland. Each room has its own private deck for relaxing, and the breakfast is three courses every morning. If you're a history buff, then your best bet is to stay at the Keystone Inn Bed and Breakfast. It's directly next to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, so it gives you a fantastic opportunity to relive Chamberlain's defense of Little Round Top on Day Two or Pickett's disastrous charge on Day Three. The bed and breakfast itself provides eight rooms that are each named for a different famous general at Gettysburg. This comfortable inn also provides a charging station for electric vehicles, which is exclusively for guests of the bed and breakfast.
HOW TO GET THERE
From Harrisburg: Take Route 83 south, which takes you right to York. From Philadelphia: Follow Route 76 west out of the north part of the city. At the junction with Route 222, proceed southwest until you reach Route 30. Take Route 30 west-southwest all the way to York. From Baltimore, Maryland: Follow Route 83 north. It goes straight to York.
PARKING
There are several large parking lots at York Memorial Park, with plenty of space for an RV. You can also check the parking information for the City of York. Alternatively, you can leave your RV at your campground or other accommodation and take a ride share to the venue.
TICKETS & PRICING
Ticket prices haven't been posted yet for 2025. In 2024, they ranged from $15 for a designated driver ticket to $60 for two-day general admission. When tickets become available, you can get them at Crocodile Dog Marketing. When you purchase them in advance, you can snag some sweet early-bird specials.
