According to many anglers, Sebastian Inlet is the best place along the east coast of Florida for saltwater fishing. Anglers like to pull in snook and bluefish from around the jetties. You may wish to plan your visit for a time when a local surfing competition is scheduled.
The largest campsites at this state park can accommodate rigs up to 40 feet long. The paths around the park are paved, so bikers have a great place to ride. If you enjoy canoeing and kayaking, then you can use the nearby Indian River Lagoon.
“We spent a week here in the second row back from the water – these sites are more elevated so you still have a good view. We were absolutely amazed by the huge number of seabirds including pelicans, herons, egrets, and wood storks. We also spotted dolphins multiple times (including a mom and calf) and even a green sea turtle. Wow!” – Margot, Campendium Review
