The Rising Star COE Campground is surrounded by cotton fields and next to the river’s Pool 3 Lock and Dam. It’s a good fishing location for anglers and a shady spot for parking your RV. In fact, the entire park is nestled under a forest canopy with a few sites on a rise overlooking the Arkansas River.
If you love to see wildlife in its natural habitat, then take a seat at Rising Star Campground and look around. The area is frequently visited by red foxes and other four-footed critters. The birds that live near the water are fun to watch as they dive for food.
“This must be one of the best-kept secrets in Arkansas. The campground is beautiful. It sits on the banks of the Arkansas River. The sites are beautiful. We really can’t say anything bad about the park…” – Rick & Carol, RV Park Review
