Ogemaw County Fair in West Branch, Michigan, can host your family reunion or other events. The wooded campground located on the fairgrounds includes a playground, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, a pavilion, and fishing on the Rifle River. They hold special events such as Christmas in July, complete with Christmas lights. The campground provides back-in sites with water and 30- and 50-amp hookups, rustic campsites, and group camping sites with electricity. The pet-friendly campground offers Wi-Fi, restrooms, showers, a fire pit, a fire ring, grills, picnic tables, and a dump station. Open April 15 to October 17, the campground is located at 2300 Rifle River Trail.
The fairgrounds, where Ogemaw County Fair is located, includes an Antique Village that's fully operational during fair week. The village features the Church in the Woods, the Village Press, the Ogemaw State Forest Bunkhouse, the Withey School, the General Store, the Trapper Cabin, the Robinson Cabin, the Bean Blacksmith Shop, the Bessemer Single Piston Engine & Oil Field Display, and the Edward E. Evans Memorial Garden or Heirloom Garden. Check to see the hours of operation during non-fair periods and any other activities available on the fairgrounds.
