Moro Bay State Park is a popular fishing and water sport area in south-central Arkansas. Raymond Lake and Moro Bay join the Ouachita River at the state park where you will find 23 Class AAA campsites alongside a marina with boat rentals, a gas pump, and screened pavilion with playground. Hiking trails and the Moro Bay Ferry exhibit with a historic barge and tugboat are also close by.
Moro Bay State Park is a great base for sports enthusiasts to enjoy the area’s many outdoor recreational opportunities. It is a prime location during the hunting season for those on the hunt for whitetail deer and wild turkey. It also has two easy hiking trails: Deer Run Trail, where you will see unusual mayhaw trees, and Low Water Trail, where there are great bird-watching opportunities.
“Loved this State Park, we had the best time!!! This place is super clean with awesome walking trails. We saw an abundance of wildlife. Would recommend this place to everyone. Campsites are immaculate and very spacious apart. We walked to the welcome center/store and was very impressed with the knowledge of the employees and park ranger.” – Diana, Google Review
