Situated in the southeast region of the park, nearest to the town of Jackson, the park's most extensive campground sprawls across a landscape adorned with sagebrush and grasses, complemented by the towering presence of cottonwoods and blue spruce. A short stroll from the Gros Ventre River, the campground offers a picturesque setting, with some sites providing glimpses of the majestic Grand Teton and Blacktail Butte. Noteworthy for its accessibility, the campground boasts ten ADA-accessible sites equipped with electric hookups, and the adjoining restroom is fully compliant with ADA standards.
Characterized by level terrain, easy vehicle access, and a surface covered in compact gravel, most sites within the campground cater to RVs and trailers with a maximum length of 45 feet. Certain sections of the campground permit the use of generators. Adding to the allure of this natural haven, the area attracts a variety of wildlife, including bison, moose, and mule deer, creating an immersive and captivating experience for visitors.
