Located just 10 minutes outside of Flagstaff, Fort Tuthill County Park is the perfect place to turn into your base of operations as you explore local sights like Meteor Crater. Fort Tuthill County Park is a top contender for best RV camping in Flagstaff, Arizona, due to the fact that it seems very far away from the hustle and bustle while still being close to all of Flagstaff’s many amenities and beautiful landmarks.
Far more than just an RV park, Fort Tuthill County Park is a historical site that is home to museums and landmarks that make this park well worth the visit whether you plan to stay the night or not. RV camping is also somewhat cheaper at Fort Tuthill than it is at other campgrounds in the Flagstaff, Arizona, region. There’s always something interesting going on at Fort Tuthill County Park no matter what time of the year you choose to visit.
“Can’t say enough about this place except for the map that is on the web site is really off (and says it). Clean facilities, nice grounds, never too loud or too busy except the motorcycles coming and going. Good options for single tents, RVs, etc…Love to be able to reserve a camp spot and love that Pepsi Amp is across the way for shows. Check out the museum there as well! Beautiful park”. – Heather, Google Review
