Turn back time when you park your RV at the Fort Toulouse – Fort Jackson Park. See the re-created 1751 Fort Toulouse, partially restored 1814 American Fort Jackson, and Creek Indian houses. Study a 1,000-year-old Indian mound and hike the William Bartram Nature Trail.
While you’re making your home away from home in your RV, you’ll experience history right at this park during your visit. Every month, the park hosts living history events. In April, see the French and Indian War Encampment. In November, experience Alabama Frontier Days, one of the biggest living history events in Alabama. The park is definitely worth a visit when you’re in the Montgomery area.
“This is a very nice park and camping area.”
