My family means everything to me and having an RV at the track is a game changer. It allows for us all to be together, conveniently at the track, just a few steps away from where I go to work. It gives us that hub… that home base during race weekend to have a home away from home, no matter where we go.
About my work…
I’m a professional race car driver, who currently races for Kaulig Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Our schedule goes from mid February to early November, and we race 33 weekends during that span all over the country from Miami, Fla. to Portland, Ore. to Loudon, N.H. and many points in between.
Usually a race weekend in the Xfinity Series is either a one or two-day show, meaning that all of our on-track activity happens over the course of either one or two days. Sometimes we fly in the day before on-track activity, which means we’re gone for at least two nights, and that’s usually when we book an RV from RVshare.
RVing for Work and Play
RVing is something that my wife, Kenzie and I started doing together several years ago. We love exploring together, and at the end of the 2020 race season, we actually drove the RV that we owned at the time on a winding path back across the United States from Phoenix, Ariz. to Charlotte, N.C. The memories we share from those experiences on the road will live with us the rest our lives. For those four weeks this great country was, in fact, our playground.
Some drivers in my profession have their own RVs that travel to each track and a full-time coach driver who takes care of it — the whole nine yards. But, we were in need in 2021 to find a more affordable alternative, and that’s when we found RVshare.
Why Choose an RV Rental from RVshare
Their convenience, customer service and affordability was exactly what we needed. The online platform at RVshare.com helps us find options that work for us, with plenty of features to choose from, and every unit we’ve had has been in great shape. You can tell the owners in their network really take pride in the condition and upkeep of their RVs.
Honestly, during our time using RVshare we’ve discovered that we really like using fifth-wheel units because of the space that is available on the inside. There’s plenty of space in the living quarters, plus our 2 year old, Rhen, can have her own space as well… and that usually works out for her and her parents! But, what I enjoy the most about RVshare is the convenience, which is second to none. We get all of our units delivered and setup for us, and it’s ready to rock as soon as we get there. It’s that convenience that makes renting from RVshare such an easy experience.
It’s so good that they didn’t even ask me to write this! (Seriously!) It’s like my own Yelp review for RVshare. I’d recommend them to anyone who’s ready to go exploring in an RV, or anyone that just needs that occasional home away from home like we do.
