Libby’s Oceanside Camp – Maine
Whether you’re in search of a long stretch of sandy beach, a view of the famous Nubble Lighthouse, or easy access to quaint shops and restaurants serving up local cuisine, Libby’s Oceanside Camp has you covered. With a long history of serving ocean-loving RVers, this family-run campground prides itself on providing guests with an amazing place to enjoy the Maine coast.

Sun Outdoors Ocean City – Maryland
Sun Outdoors Ocean City is a beautiful Maryland campground that used to be the Castaways RV Resort & Campground. The waterfront campground is also near the famous wild horses of Assateague Island and the fun of Ocean City. The campground has a tiki bar, a dog beach, minigolf, and nearby paddleboard and kayak rentals. You can reserve a campsite online.
West Coast Waterfront RV Parks
Crystal Cove State Park – California
High up on a bluff overlooking the rolling surf and sandy beaches of the Pacific Ocean, lies Crystal Cove State Park. Here, you will find a beautiful, rugged oasis that stands in sharp contrast to the surrounding pristine homes and immaculate green golf courses. Campers will find a long stretch of beach with tide pools, two sandy coves, and an underwater park for snorkelers and scuba divers at their disposal. At the far end of the park, campers can access El Moro, a large preserve with miles of hiking and biking trails.
Crystal Cove has a total of 58 campsites. Twenty-seven offer water and electric hookups for RVs 35 feet and under. The remaining 30 are designated for pop-up campers, conversion vans, and tents only. Thousand Trails Yosemite Lakes – California
Yep, California even has some inland waterfront campgrounds! Yosemite Lakes is near Yosemite National Park, and is next to the South Fork of the Tuolumne River. Guests can swim, fish, and even pan for gold in the river next to the campground. The space is also near Lake Don Pedro, a popular waterskiing spot. The campground has 254 full hookup sites, plus tent sites, cabins, and yurt rentals. You can reserve a spot online via the Thousand Trails website.
South Beach Campground – Washington
While you won’t find amenities such as a heated pool, tennis courts, or even hot showers and water spigots at South Beach Campground, what you will find is the wild and raw beauty of Washington’s Olympic National Park …right outside your door. Located on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, South Beach is a nature lover’s dream. Easy access to a wide beach strewn with driftwood and teaming with sea creatures ensures that what South Beach lacks in luxury accommodations, it more than makes up for with natural beauty.
South Beach has 55 sites, some accessible for RVs up to 35′ long. There are no hookups, no potable water, and no reservations, so plan accordingly.
Sea & Sand RV Park – Oregon
Oregon and prime waterfront RV sites go hand and hand. With a long coastline full of mostly unspoiled beaches, you really can’t go wrong with most of the oceanside campgrounds in Oregon. But if you want a stunning view from your RV, access to a long stretch of beach with world-famous beach combing and fishing, and close proximity to all the amenities of both Newport Beach and Lincoln City, you simply can’t beat the Sea & Sand RV Park.

Winchester Bay RV Resort – Oregon
Winchester Bay is along the Oregon coast, so you’ll get beautiful ocean views and pine-covered mountains. Along with ocean sites, the campground is near the Umpqua River, so you’ll get your fill of aquatic activities. Picnic areas have been cleverly sheltered from the ocean breezes, and there are restrooms, showers, and a campground recreation building. You can book a campsite online.

Stella Mare RV Resort – Texas
This beach RV park is a popular Galveston RV campground with both vacationers and snowbirds looking to escape the cold! Sites offer beachfront camping, with grassy areas and palm trees. Along with ocean views, there is a lake at the campground, a guest center with a kitchen and lounge, laundry, hot showers, and dog parks. Hunting Island State Park – South Carolina
Located on a barrier island just 15 miles from the historic town of Beaufort, Hunting Island State Park boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in South Carolina. This former hunting preserve is now a virtual wonderland of wildlife and natural beauty. Park your RV in the shade of wind-sculpted trees, with a view of the ocean. Take a walk on the marsh boardwalk, hike one of the rustic nature trails, or try your hand at the fishing pier. Don’t forget to visit the historic lighthouse and climb 130 feet to the top, to take in a sweeping view of the shoreline below.

Long Key State Park – Florida
The Florida Keys are filled with oceanside campgrounds. From Key Largo to Key West, you can find everything from basic state parks to high-end resort-style RV parks boasting private docks and thatched roof cabanas. But for the very best of the Keys, many RVers return again and again to Long Key State Park. Every site is located alongside a stretch of sandy beach with a wide-open view of the shallow, warm, turquoise waters. Kayaking, hiking, biking, and fishing are all popular activities at Long Key. That is if you can tear yourself away from the beach chair.

Jolly Roger RV Resort – Florida
The Jolly Roger RV Resort is another beautiful Florida Keys campground! It’s near Curry Hammock State Park and has over 160 full hookup sites. The resort has its own dock, and campers can snorkel right at the campground. The campground is next to the Dolphin Research Center, where visitors can swim with dolphins, and of course there’s plenty of boating, diving, swimming, or relaxing with some amazing views! Grand Haven State Park, Michigan

Duck Creek RV Resort is between the lakeside towns of Muskegon and Whitehall. The resort has lakefront sites near a swim beach and other water activities. Lake Sakakawea State Park – North Dakota
Lake Sakakawea is the third-largest manmade reservoir in the United States. This means there’s plenty of room for swimming, boating, and fishing! Viking Lake State Park is a popular Iowa lake, with lots of native flowers and plants around. Watch for wildlife including turkeys, beavers, and plenty of ducks on the water.
