Planning your Wilkins Peak Bike Trail BLM trip

If you plan to rely on dispersed camping, be aware that spaces are limited. You'll have an easier time keeping your RV at Bureau of Land Management campgrounds where you can take advantage of public bathrooms, fire pits, and picnic tables. You also won't have to worry about your motorhome while you're out exploring the land. Plan to bring plenty of water and sunscreen. The weather can change quickly when you're up in the mountains, so bring extra clothes, and keep an eye on the forecast. Bears usually aren't a problem for visitors, but it's important to know how to avoid them and keep your group protected.
