Opened in June of 1930, Goddard Memorial State Park has grown to incorporate a golf course, bathhouse and saltwater beach, bridle trails, game fields, picnic tables, and a performing arts center. In 1979, the park embarked on a journey to begin renovating existing structures and venues and continues to do so. Visitors can also enjoy 10 other nearby parks, including Colt State Park in Bristol and Beavertail State Park in Jamestown, and it's also close to Cranston, Rhode Island.
