You’ll find the Fishermen’s State Park and Campground located in the south-easternmost tip of the state, in the town of Narragansett. It’s in one of the most desired regions of Rhode Island due to its proximity to popular attractions such as Point Judith Lighthouse, Scarborough State Beach, Black Point Trailhead, John H. Chafee National Wildlife Refuge, and East Matunuck State Beach. Other local, must-see destinations include South County Museum, Yawgoo Valley ski area, and the Adventureland Family Fun Park.
Some state parks contain minimal (to non-existent) amenities, making your RV vacation a little less comfortable than you’d hope for! Fishermen’s State Park and Campground, however, contains everything from full hookups, to a dump station, playground, fire rings, comfort station, and so much more. Who says affordable camping has to be rustic? Now you can stick to your budget and enjoy many of the comforts of home!
“Very nice RV campground. Large pull-thru sites – some of them are enormous. Very private for pull-thru sites, most have bushes, hedges, and or trees between them. Well maintained. Full hookups.” – Mike, Google review
