It is easy to get to Taum Sauk Mountain State Park from Ironton, which is located on Missouri 21, very near its junction with Missouri 72. Head south out of Ironton and turn right on Missouri 21 South. Stay on Missouri 21 South for about five miles until you reach State Highway CC. Turn right. In about four miles, you will see High Point Trail Head. Turn left, and you will be at the park.
