The Interstate State Park is located near Taylors Falls, Minnesota, on the shores of the St. Croix River. While it is a particularly beautiful park in the fall when the trees turn their gorgeous autumn colors, this park is a popular place to visit year-round. At least 10 different lava flows within this park attract professional and amateur geologists from around the globe. This park is about 47 miles north of St. Paul, 18 miles east of Stacy and 9 miles south of Eureka Center.

How to Get to
Interstate State Park

It is easy to get to Interstate State Park from St. Paul, Minnesota, and other locations because it is close to Interstate 35 East/North. Get off at Exit 132 and get on U.S. 8 going toward Taylors Falls. Be sure to stay on U.S. 8 at the traffic circle by taking the second exit. Finally, turn right on Minnow Road to enter the park.

The park is open for day use from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
