The 10,900-acre Tuttle Creek Lake is a beautiful place to go fishing for catfish and flathead fish and a boating adventure, while the 12,000 acres found in Tuttle Creek Lake State Park is a great place to go exploring. A shooting range is open two weekends a month. You can have a great time playing on the 18-hole disc golf course. This park has four sections around the lake. Find the main part 8.7 miles north of Manhattan, Kansas, 20 miles south of Randolph, Kansas, and 32 miles east of Wakefield, Kansas.

Tuttle Creek Lake
Inside Tuttle Creek Lake
Ride, hike, or bike along miles of trails at Tuttle Creek Lake State Park. The reservoir is a great place to go fishing. Practice your shooting at the archery and gun range. Head to the beach to go swimming in the reservoir. The scenic 18-hole disc golf course is a fabulous place for a friendly game.
Outside Tuttle Creek Lake
There are also many great things you will want to do in Manhattan and the surrounding area. Flint Hills has a very young vibe because it is home to Kansas State University, and Fort Riley is nearby. There are fantastic restaurants and shops to explore and exciting things to do.

How to Get to
Tuttle Creek Lake
It is easy to get to the main part of Tuttle Creek Lake State Park from Manhattan, Kansas. Head east of Fremont Street. Then, turn left on Juliette Avenue. After this road takes a slight bend to the right, it becomes Ehlers Road. Turn left on US 24 West before turning right on Kansas 13 North. Finally, arrive at the park by turning right on River Pond Road and continuing for 1.2 miles.
