This location is the perfect state park to hang out in regardless of the season. In the winter, explore this park's eight miles of trails or go ice fishing at the reservoir. Spring is a great time to see fawns and elk calves grazing by their mothers, and in summer, have fun on the 820-acre reservoir and fish the Yampa River. In the fall, you can enjoy the cooler temperatures and head to this park's biking trails. In every season, you can borrow or rent most of the equipment that you need, including snowshoes, augers, fishing rods, tackle, archery equipment, fat-tire bikes, and more from the park's headquarters. Stagecoach State Park is located approximately 17 miles south of Steamboat Springs, 159 miles northwest of Denver, and 160 miles east of Fort Coins, Colorado.

Stagecoach State Park
Inside Stagecoach State Park
This is the perfect park for you to try new things. Seasonally open bicycle trails allow you to see the lake and the meadow where many elk live, and you can combine the two trails to make an 11-mile loop trail. The lake offers many fun activities, and you can use the boat ramp to launch your watercraft. Spring fishing in the Inlet, Morrison Cove, Keystone Point, and the marina area is usually outstanding for rainbow trout. Many areas of the park are open for waterfowl hunting according to the seasons set by the state.

Approximately 500,000 people visit Routt County annually, and you can find many things to do here, especially when you visit Steamboat Springs. There are more than 100 restaurants in the downtown Steamboat Springs area and more spread around other areas of the county. Stagecoach State Park
If you are in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, then get on US 40 E. Go about four miles and turn right on County Road 131 South. Then, turn left on County Road 14. After going around some curves, you will see the park in about 14.5 miles.
