The r of a constantly made engine noise.I was worried the whole time. Stop along our trip to stay at another campsite. Because we were worried to go any further during the night which created more miles that I was charged for.
The battery that controls the interior was dead. None of the tvs were smart tvs. The r v was not very clean, the refrigerator smelled.
Could not have asked for a better first time experience renting a RV. Eugene and Padee were responsive throughout my entire trip and really made me feel at ease. Many memories were made between me, my friends, and our travel companion Gerty!
We loved Gertie. Pick up was easy and He explained and walk thought the set up of camper. Beds are comfortable. We had room for all the extras. We did have a run in with a bear in Gatlinburg Tennessee. The owners were more concerned about us then the camper. Asked if we were ok before the camper. Great communication through the process. Great camper, greater people.
The hosts were so great, very accommodating and communicative. Our family had a great time and we would definitely rent Gertie again.
Was a wonderful experience as a first timer. Camper ran great. We really would of enjoyed having some camp chairs included as we flew in and couldn't really supply our own and sitting on the ground leaves a bit to be desired.
We had a blast and the Blue ridge mountains were absolutely fantastic.
"Gertie" was rather easy to drive (the same as a box truck) and everything was easy to operate. The hosts were very flexible on the pickup timing. Overall a positive experience.
