I rented this Sprinter for a 2-week solo journey through Colorado, August 2022.
While the vehicle is reliable and responsive, I had problems with a lot of the van’s systems during the trip. Communication with Nels was sporadic (all through texts), and when I picked up the van, minimal information was given.
5 Start experience, great trip, great family to rent from.
Very helpful and Van was well stocked and comfortable.
My one suggestion would be to put the overall height of vehicle somewhere visible to the driver. This being a 4x4 version with solar panels on top, it's tall.
Taller than some drive throughs, etc...
The camper was obviously a labor of love and comes with EVERYTHING you could want for a relaxing adventure. Nels went out of his way to make it possible for me to pick up the van at the airport, which was deeply appreciated. This one is a gem -- highly recommended!
Listing was accurate. Handled great on highways and gravel roads. A bit fuel-hungry.
Lacks some of the amenities usually found in an RV, but quite user-friendly.
We had a great trip. Super easy and flexible on the pick up and drop off to help fit in with our schedule. Van was well stocked and fantastic.
