ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT
The U.S. Open consists of championships for singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. There are seven rounds: rounds 1–4, a quarterfinal round, a semifinal round, and a finals round. The men play best-of-five matches, while the women play best-of-three. All matches take place at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The complex has 22 courts, 12 of which are outside its perimeter. There are three stadiums, with Arthur Ashe Stadium seating around 23,200. Arthur Ashe Stadium is where the finals take place. The tournament also hosts a U.S. Open Fan Week, which is free and open to the public. There is also an Arthur Ashe Kids' Day.

The Tennis Center offers tons of food options, from Mexican and Italian to seafood, burgers, hot dogs, and ice cream. Also on-site are bars serving a wide range of alcoholic drinks. The on-site shopping options include Wilson, Nike, and Lululemon stores. In addition, the Tennis Center has accessible seating and parking as well as assisted-listening devices and sensory kits. The Tennis Center prohibits items such as backpacks, large electronics like iPads, laser pointers, drones, or selfie sticks. You also can't bring any pets, except for service animals.

WHERE TO STAY
New York City has an abundance of hotels and motels. To cut down on travel, try to find a place in Queens near the Tennis Center. Manhattan is considered the heart of NYC, but it's a long subway/train ride out to Flushing Meadows. Some options in Queens include the Four Points by Sheraton Flushing and the John Hotel.
HOW TO GET THERE
The best and smartest thing to do is leave your RV or car at your campsite or other location and use NYC's extensive public transportation system to get to Flushing Meadows. If you're coming from Manhattan, take the 7 train from Grand Central Terminal to Mets-Willets Point Station. You can also take the Long Island Rail Road to Mets-Willets Point Station.
PARKING
There are parking areas at the Tennis Center, but parking zone availability depends on whether the New York Mets are playing at nearby Citi Field. Check for Mets parking conflicts at the U.S. Open official parking and transportation page. Accessible parking is available, even on Mets conflict days. Parking payment is by card only.
TICKETS & PRICING
Individual tickets are set to go on sale on Thursday, May 28, at noon ET. American Express Card Members get early access beginning Tuesday, May 26, at 9 a.m. ET, while supplies last. Grounds Admission is best for exploring the grounds and watching matches on the outer courts. Grandstand and Louis Armstrong Stadium tickets include reserved seating in those stadiums, while Arthur Ashe Stadium tickets include a reserved seat in the main stadium and access to all other courts.
