ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT

Guests who attend Moondance Jam will enjoy a weekend of rock music, camping, and outdoor fun. Rock bands and solo artists will play in the MDJ Saloon and on the Tiki Bar Stage by the Lazy Moon Bar & Grill. The MDJ Saloon has a more laid-back atmosphere where you can relax and interact with local and upcoming performers, while the Tiki Bar Stage is reserved for the headliners.

RVING AT THE EVENT

Taking an RV to Moondance Jam can be a great way to explore Minnesota and camp out along the way. If you do not own an RV, consider renting one for the event because camping on-site at the Moondance Fairgrounds is a significant part of the three-day experience. The Moondance Fairgrounds are primarily an event venue rather than a traditional RV campground. However, they have a camping area with electrical hookups, camping spots that can accommodate big rigs, and showers. You can also buy ice on-site. Tips For RVers Staying at the Moondance Fairgrounds: • Moondance Jam is not designed for young children to attend, and thus parents are discouraged from bringing them. In addition, pets are not allowed at Moondance Fairgrounds. • Open fires are prohibited. You are welcome to bring an above-ground grill to prepare meals. • You can use a generator in the fairgrounds. However, quiet hours are strictly enforced, and you must turn it off by 2 a.m. • To learn more about staying in your RV during Moondance Jam, visit their camping page.
