ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT

Every year, Hinterland Music Festival provides all kinds of fun activities and entertainment for its guests. The Hinterkids tent has fun crafts and activities like piñata-making, bandana-stamping, and a drawing disco. Adults can enjoy a silent disco during the festival and yoga by the Campfire Stage on Saturday and Sunday mornings. There’s also a wide assortment of Hinterland merch to browse.

Hinterland will have a wide variety of food and beverages available to satisfy all, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and corn-free options. There are port-a-potties in the camping areas and air-conditioned restrooms available for SAINTS and glamping pass holders. Showers are available for $10 by credit card only, and free showers are available for SAINTS ticket holders. The lost and found is located at the box office.

RVing Tips

Saint Charles, Iowa, is an RV-friendly town that encourages visitors to enjoy their time at Hinterland. If you’re camping at the festival, be sure to fill your water tank ahead of time and arrive early to find a shady spot. Since the weather can be unpredictable, it can’t hurt to bring a shade structure and an umbrella plus clothes to shield you from rain and heat.
