ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT
FloydFest’s Children’s Universe is in the heart of FestivalPark’s main concert field. Here, kids can engage in enriching activities and enjoy an imaginative landscape. Children’s Universe installations include a rock-climbing wall, pirate ship playground, sensory sandbox, and arts-and-crafts tent. On Saturday during the festival, there's a Peace Parade through Children's Universe that features musicians, jugglers, and puppets. You can bring your own instruments and join in with some of the busking performers at The Depot on the festival grounds. For a bit of whimsy, try dancing in the silent disco! As outdoor adventure plays a big role at FloydFest, join in a variety of fun activities, including a disc golf tournament, a 5K race, and guided hikes and bike rides.

There are two medical stations. You can get food at the food court and other supplies at the on-site general store.

FloydFest is held in the Blue Ridge Mountains at FestivalPark in Check. The address is 5826 Floyd Highway North, Check, Virginia. Where can you park an RV for FloydFest?
Currently, you can only park an RV at the designated RV campground. You cannot move your RV once you arrive, so you should bring your car or use a rideshare service if you need to leave. However, if you purchased a one-day ticket, you cannot leave and re-enter the venue.

RVING AT THE EVENT
RVing at FloydFest gives you the most immersive experience. On-site camping is separate from your event ticket, and you should reserve your RV camping pass early as they sell quickly. You have two on-site options: powered and unpowered. The electric sites have 30- or 50-amp electric hookups with a maximum footprint of 20 by 40 feet. Unpowered sites have a maximum footprint of 20 by 30 feet. No tents are allowed within your RV site.
Where to Camp Near FloydFest
Several nearby RV camping options are available if you want a more relaxed camping experience or additional hookups. The Rocky Knob Campground is about six miles from the venue, offering 28 RV sites with picnic tables, fire rings, and lantern posts. There are no hookups, but the campground has flush toilets, potable water, and a dump station. The Oak RV Resort is about 13 miles from the venue and offers RV sites with full hookups. This campground features showers, a clubhouse with a fireplace, an indoor pet-washing station, an outdoor pavilion, walking trails, and private bathrooms.
RV Rental Tips for FloydFest
If you didn't reserve a campsite in advance, arrive at your chosen RV campground early to secure the best camping spot. WHERE TO STAY
If you aren’t staying in an RV, there are a few convenient hotel options near FloydFest. The Oaks Victorian Inn is a bed and breakfast offering exceptional luxury, including fine bed linens, robes to lounge in, and first-class mattresses. The Hotel Floyd is a reasonably priced option. It's a green hotel, so by staying there, you can reduce your carbon footprint. HOW TO GET THERE
From Richmond: Follow Route 60 west until you reach the junction with Route 81. Take Route 81 southwest until you reach the junction with Route 581 in Roanoke. Proceed south on Route 581 until you reach Route 221. Take that south to FloydFest. From Greensboro, NC: Drive north on Route 73. Watch for signs for Route 220. Take Route 220 north to Roanoke. From there, drive south on Route 221, which will take you to FloydFest.
PARKING
There is parking available at FloydFest, but the rules are different for VIPs and those with general admission tickets. Check the festival’s official website for more information.
TICKETS & PRICING
There are about two dozen ticket options online, including multi-day passes, VIP packages, camping and glamping options, and other choices. You're limited to purchasing 10 tickets at a time. Ticket prices are as follows: ● General Admission (single day, 3-, 4-, 5-Day Passes): Range from $150 to $425 ● RV Powered Pass (20’-by-40’): $1,800 + fees. ● RV Unpowered Pass (20’-by-30’): $900 + fees. ● GA Glamp-Camp Tent Bundle: $2,200 + fees. ● VIP Glamp-Camp packages and premium VIP camping/suites: Up to $2,500.

5-Day RV Itinerary for FloydFest
● Day 1: Arrival and Setup: Arrive early, around 10 a.m., to secure your camping spot and get set up. You can set up an awning and get water from the water station. Next, take a walk around the venue and get familiar with all of the available activities. By evening, you can catch musical performances, including Chuck Prophet and His Cumbia Shoes, Isaac Hadden, and Florencia & The Feeling. ● Day 2: Main Festival Kickoff: Enjoy a more laid-back morning, then explore the Children's Universe and the Healing Arts area. By afternoon, you can enjoy performances by Jason Scott & The High Heat and AJ Lee & Blue Summit. In the evening, you can go to the main stage and watch Railroad Earth and Stephen Wilson, Jr. You can also enjoy late-night performances at the Creek or Oasis stages. ● Day 3: Peak Festival Fun: Start your morning by visiting the general store for supplies if needed. By afternoon, you can enjoy smaller performances around the Saint Arnold Brewing Stage. In the evening, you can attend performances by The Word, John Medeski, and North Mississippi Allstars. The headliner for the evening is the Tedeschi Trucks Band. Late-night performances include Andry Frasco and the U.N. ● Day 4: The Daydream Highlight: Start your morning with yoga or a workshop. In the afternoon, you can take the shuttle to the Higher Ground Viewing Deck and enjoy the majestic views. Performances during the day include Larkin Poe and The Dip. The headliner for the night is My Morning Jacket. Coyote Island and Cruz Contreras offer late-night performances. ● Day 5: Final Sets and Departure: The FloydFest 5K Trail Running Race begins at 9:15 a.m. You can participate or be a spectator. In the afternoon, you can enjoy the final smaller performances and stop by the merchandise booths for souvenirs. The final headliner show features Amble and Lukas Nelson. You can spend the rest of the evening relaxing and preparing for an early morning departure by 10 a.m.
