Rent an RV

Descending each year on the otherwise quiet farm in Manchester, Tennessee, Bonnaroo touts itself as more than a music festival -- it’s a whole way of life. The Bonnaroo experience combines world-class live entertainment with a dizzying array of arts, food, and other activities, all under a constant atmosphere of radical inclusivity and a commitment to sustainable social initiatives. Take a cooling dip in the famous fountain or drool over (and indulge in) the best donuts you’ve ever had, all while wandering from stage to stage and taking in some of the best concerts you’ve ever seen. And with its many camping options (including special sections for RVers), you can relax in comfort at the end of a long and perfect day of bouncing around Bonnaroo.

ON-SITE AMENITIES

For that one June weekend, this otherwise-empty, bucolic landscape transforms into a veritable city; you won’t have to worry about leaving to find food, water, or any other last-minute needs. On-site amenities include food vendors dishing out everything from delicious spicy pizza pie (trust us, you want to try it) to hand-dipped Amish donuts and more. There’s also ample vegan fare, so no worries on that front. And, of course, plenty of beer.

LOCATION

Bonnaroo is held annually at Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee, also lovingly referred to as “The Farm.”

LINEUP

If there's one thing for sure, it's that Bonnaroo has a stacked lineup. Headliners include Miley Cyrus, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, Tool, and more. For full details on the lineup and the schedule of who’s performing when, head to Bonnaroo’s website.

RVING AT THE EVENT

NEW for 2020, RVshare is partnering with Bonnaroo to offer special discounts. By renting an RV through RVshare and you can get a special coupon code for $50 off a Bonnaroo RV pass. There will also be RVs on site to rent. Head here for all the details.

Bonnaroo offers a plethora of camping options, including lots of amenities for RVers - here’s what you need to know before you pack up and go.

  • Each RV requires an RV pass, which is purchased separately from your wristband (which serves as your ticket to entering the venue). Pricing of RV passes ranges depending on which kind of site you choose: general admission RV passes are $250, general admission RV passes with 30 amps of power are $750, and general admission RV passes with 50 amps of power are $795.
  • Class A, C, and B rigs are all allowed (and considered RVs for the purpose of pricing), as are buses, trailers, and any vehicle wider or longer than a normal 15 passenger van (230.8″ x 79.3″ x 82.3″).
  • Prevosts, tour buses, and box trucks are not allowed.
  • If you want to bring an additional vehicle, it will need a car camping pass, which cost $59.75, plus fees, per car. Again, it’s important to understand that these prices are separate from the cost you pay for your ticket to enter.
  • No dumping station or water hookups are available, but there is a company who roams the campgrounds and can empty and fill your tanks for a fee. Full details on their availability and pricing will be distributed in the guide you receive when you get to the event.

WHERE TO STAY

If you’re not RVing to Bonnaroo this year, there are plenty of other accommodation options.

Tent camping is the most popular, and the festival offers both empty sites and pre-arranged tents, with a variety of pricing options. Bonnaroo also offers a day parking lot and shuttles from local hotels if you’d rather stay off-site.

VIP and Platinum accommodations are also available, which upgrade your camping experience with closer locations, commemorative swag, and exclusive showers and air-conditioned, flushable bathrooms. For all the deets on available accommodations at Bonnaroo, click here.

HOW TO GET THERE

As you approach Manchester, you’ll see lots of signs directing you toward Bonnaroo, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find -- but the organizers have also published excellent directions on their website. Just choose “Getting To The Fest” from the dropdown menu on the left-hand side of this page and read the first result, “How To Get To Bonnaroo.”

TICKETS & PRICING

Tickets to Bonnaroo range in price depending on when you purchase them and which additional options you’d like to include. In general, the earlier you buy, the better -- but even the least-expensive general admission tickets start at $190 for one-day passes. You’ll also need to purchase a car camping pass if you’re staying on-site, as well as factor in budget for food and other expenses once you get there.
