If you're looking for a way to fill your weekend, many RVers staying in the Millville area take advantage of the fact that they are just 30 minutes away from Frontenac State Park. RVers can add a few more nights of camping to their itineraries if they'd like to explore the park.
Spring Creek MX Park's campground offers flushing air-conditioned restrooms. There's also potable water for filling your tanks. Families can enjoy a playground area featuring swings, volleyball, and basketball. Firewood is for sale at the front gate. The area around the park recently added an AT&T cell tower that ensures quality reception. Pit Stop Concession has been the go-to spot for food at Spring Creek for more than 30 years. Finally, the campground offers access to a registered trout stream and sandy beach where RVers can fish and relax.

While early spring snowmelt can lead to flooding, June visitors coming to town for the motocross event will have no trouble because the area is easy to drive through while everything is in bloom.

As the track is in the Mississippi River Valley along Spring Creek, it has some of the richest soil of any of the tracks. It used to be a working farm, but spring flooding made it a much better prospect for a motocross track. It now boasts a three-story starting tower with a viewing platform, a building to house registration and concessions, a four-story announcing tower with a spectator deck, two sets of temperature-controlled flushing restroom stations, and more.
RV camping is available at Spring Creek MX Park during Spring Creek National Motocross. When booking their RV sites, campers can choose between Fan Camping and Preferred Camping. Preferred Camping puts you closer to the track with early access to events. If you prefer to camp at a park near the track, consider these options: Bluff Valley Campground: Located in Zumbro Falls, this action-packed campground has 20-amp, 30-amp, and 50-amp service. RVers also enjoy a heated pool, rock climbing, tubing along the river, a driving range, and an indoor skate park. Hidden Meadows RV Park & Campground: Located near Pine Island, this campground offers shaded RV sites with a choice of water-only, electric-only, and full hookups. Enjoy hiking and picnicking at the fork of the Zumbro River. The grounds offer showers, laundry facilities, a recreation hall, and a camp store. Rochester/Marion KOA: This campground in Rochester offers 50-amp service, WiFi, propane and firewood, a pool, bike rentals, and a dog park in a scenic setting that's perfect for families. Island Camping & Marina: This waterfront campground in Hager City offers 20-amp, 30-amp, and 50-amp service and a mobile pump-out service. Enjoy views looking out toward the main barge channel of the majestic Mississippi River! Autumn Woods RV Park: This Rochester campground features 92 sites with full hookups and 35-amp to 50-amp electric. There's also WiFi, picnic tables, laundry, and showers. Tips for RVing at MX Park during Spring Creek National Motocross: • Spring Creek MX Park offers primitive RV camping with water fill-up stations and mobile RV dumping. • Those coming for the weekend will need to check out by 10 a.m. on Sunday. • Portable grills are permitted for cooking food. • If you're up for it, take the small hike that leads to incredible aerial views of the track.

• From Iowa or the south: Take Hwy 63 North through Rochester to Zumbro Falls (about 20 miles North of Rochester). In Zumbro Falls, turn right onto Hwy 60. Head east 9 miles to County Road 11. At County Road 11, turn right. Look for the appropriate signs and entrances. • From the west: Follow I-90 to Hwy 63 North. Take Hwy 63 North through Rochester to Zumbro Falls (about 20 miles North of Rochester). In Zumbro Falls, turn right onto Hwy 60. Head East 9 miles to County Road 11. At County Road 11, turn right. Look for the appropriate signs and entrances. • From Minneapolis and the north: Take Hwy 52 South to Zumbrota. On the South side of Zumbrota take Hwy 60 East exit towards Zumbro Falls. Follow Hwy 60 East 21 miles through Zumbro Falls to County Road 11. At County Road 11 turn right & look for appropriate signs & entrance. • From Chicago and the east: Take I-90 West through Wisconsin. After La Crosse take Hwy 61 North through Kellogg. Turn left onto County Road 81 (NOT 18) and follow to stop sign. Turn left onto Hwy 60 & go 13 miles to County Road 11. Turn left onto County Road 11 & look for appropriate signs & entrances.
