Experience NASCAR like never before! Fans are invited into the iconic Richmond infield to experience race weekend. The FanGrounds brings race fans closer than ever to NASCAR’s best with a fan-viewing walkway in the NASCAR Cup Series Garages, providing full immersion into the sport. Fans can watch cars complete their runs through inspection stations in the new infield. Other attractions include expansive Richmond infield social and engagement neighborhoods with concessions, new pre-race ceremonies and driver introductions, and more.
There are many amenities available at the Richmond Raceway! Employees at Guest Services booths will give you directions to your seat, displays, and special events. They can also help with Children’s ID and Safety Bracelets. There are handicap assistance carts, emergency services, and minor vehicle repair services available. They also have Joy Ride available - a service that will give you golf cart transportation for $5 per person, per ride. You can find out more about the guest services provided by the racetrack here.

RV camping is a great way to experience a NASCAR event! You get a cozy, up-close view of all the action, and have all your food, drinks, and other necessities just a few steps away. There are six RV camping options to choose from at the Richmond Raceway. You can find out more about RV camping at the Raceway here.

Americamps RV Resort - offers pull-through sites, full hookups, 30 and 50-amp service, a fitness center, a large room with kitchenette, WiFi, showers, laundry, a pool, a playground, and a dog park.
American Heritage RV Park - has 30 and 50-amp service, full hookups, pull-through sites, a camp store, WiFi, fire barrels and wood delivery, and a fenced dog run.
Richmond North/Kings Dominion KOA - has full hookups, WiFi, a pool, and a dog park
Williamsburg RV & Camping Resort - offers full hookups, WiFi, a pool, laundry, showers, a playground, tennis courts, pickleball courts, shuffleboard, and is pet-friendly.
RV Camping
RV camping is a great way to travel for a NASCAR race! Whether you own a motorhome or use a rental from RVshare, you’ll be able to watch the races, then head back to your own quiet retreat, with food, a comfortable place to hang out and other comforts of home (including your own bathroom!).
Hotels
If you decide not to camp, there are plenty of hotels in the area. Many of them even offer packages for race day weekend. You can often find good deals on travel sites like Expedia or Travelocity as well.
From Washington, DC: TAKE 1-395 S toward Richmond. Merge onto I-95 S. Take exit 82 to merge onto US-301 S/Chamberlayne Rd. toward Chamberlayne Ave. Turn left onto Azalea Ave. Turn right onto Sandpiper Dr. Sandpiper Dr. turns left and becomes Lark Dr. Turn right onto Richmond Henrico Turnpike. Follow signs to the Raceway.
From Raleigh, NC: Get on I-440 E. Take exit 14 toward US-64 E/US-264 E/Wilson/Rocky Mt. Continue onto I-87/US-264 E/US-64 E. Take exit 464 for Interstate 95 N toward Richmond. Keep left at the fork and merge onto I-95 N. Take exit 75 for I-64 E/7th St toward Norfolk/VA Beach. Keep right and follow signs for 7th St, merge onto N. 7th St. Turn right onto Hospital St. Turn left onto Valley Rd, then right onto Richmond Henrico Turnpike. Turn left to stay on Richmond Henrico Turnpike, then right onto Hunt Ave. Make a left on Meadowbridge Rd. Continue on to Richmond Henrico Turnpike, turn right, and follow signs to the Raceway.
LOT D Parking
Please note, Gate 6 on Carolina Avenue and Gate 2 on Laburnum Avenue is designated as permit-only entry gates. If you do not have a permit, you will need to access Lot D via 4 for FREE parking (first come, first serve).
The quickest and easiest way to access FREE parking at Richmond Raceway at any time is through Meadowbridge Road. While there are several free parking areas near Richmond Raceway, Lot H has the easiest access from/to the interstate.
Free Parking - LOT H
Lot H is located at the intersection of Meadowbridge Road and Azalea Avenue. It is easily accessible from I-295 (Exit 38-B) and Azalea Avenue. And we offer a FREE tram service from Lot H to the backstretch that runs continually starting at 7:00 a.m. through post-race.
