Its annual NASCAR Cup Series stock car race, the Richmond Raceway Cook Out 400, is one of the venue’s most popular events. This year’s Saturday night race will take place under the lights in Henrico County, Virginia, on the venue’s iconic 3/4-mile D-shaped oval track. The event will close out NASCAR Race Weekend, an exciting weekend of night racing that also features the regular-season finale of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series on Friday, Aug. 15. Race-loving RVers can enjoy onsite camping and a fan zone festival, with driver appearances, music, performances, and more. Enjoy an unforgettable weekend as you fulfill your need for speed watching the cars rush by on the track.

ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT

The 2025 edition of the Cook Out 400 invites fans to experience race weekend in the iconic Richmond Raceway infield and watch the cars zoom by. The FanGrounds gives you an immersive experience with a viewing walkway in the NASCAR Cup Series Garages that provides access to pre-race ceremonies and driver intros and appearances. You can also grab food from one of the concession stands, enjoy live music and performances, and watch the races from the grandstands. Be sure to check out the Richmond Nation reception and gift area if you’d like to purchase memorabilia, and download the NASCAR Tracks app to learn more about the sport.
